The Best Women’s Golf Pants of 2024
1. PGA Tour Women’s Pull-on Golf Pants — Best Overall Ladies’ Golf Pants
Specifications:
- Size: XS-XXL
- Colors: 5 colors
- Material: 73% viscose, 24% nylon, 3% elastane
Rating: 9.6
Our first pick of pair of ladies’ golf pants is by the PGA Tour, so you can be certain that these will fit in with the strictest of golfing dress codes. They are made primarily from viscose with gives the pants a nice soft feel.
They also have a very flattering look as they are mid-rise and feature in-built shapewear shorts. This gives off a slimming appearance. You also won’t overheat while wearing them as they feature moisture-wicking technology, sweat is quite literally wicked away from your body, keeping you cool.
As a final point, they prevent UV ray penetration meaning your skin is protected for those long sessions where you would overwise experience sunburn.
2. G Gradual Women’s Golf Pants — Most Color Options
Specifications:
- Size: XS-XXL
- Colors: 23 colors
- Material: 80% nylon, 20% spandex
Rating: 9.4
The G Gradual women’s ⅞ length pants are a loungey option for when you are out on the golf course. They are very flexible which gives you complete freedom of movement during your swing and they are very comfortable to wear.
As high-rise pants, the bottoms are flattering on your figure and easy to adjust with the drawstring. You also have plenty of space for small accessories as they have deep side pockets. There are, however, no back pockets to speak of.
What separates these pants from the rest is the sheer amount of colors on offer. From gray leopard to khaki, there is certain to be a color for you! So if having a well-put-together women’s golf pants outfit is high on your priorities list, the G Gradual bottoms may be the ones for you.
3. Willit Women’s Lounge Golf Pants
Specifications:
- Size: XS-XXL
- Colors: 7 colors
- Material: 80% nylon, 20% spandex
Rating: 9.1
Next up we have women’s stretch golf pants by Willit which are less formal like the G Gradual pants, focusing more on comfort. As you would expect they are moisture-wicking, and they are more stretchy than the golf pants by the PGA Tour due to the high spandex content.
The bottoms feature a 4-way stretch with a comfortable waistband that you can secure using the attached drawstring. This could come in handy if you want to load up the pockets as there is adequate space to store your phone or other small items.
The pants also utilize flatlock stitching which helps to mitigate chafing. As such, we think they are one of the most comfortable pairs of pants that you can purchase for golf.
Just know that you can’t chuck these in the wash with your other clothes. Hand wash only!

4. Hiverlay Women’s Pro Golf Pants
Specifications:
- Size: XS-XXXL
- Colors: 11 colors
- Material: 91% nylon, 9% spandex
Rating: 8.9
If you’re in the market for a smart pair of golf pants then the Hiverlay trousers could be a good choice. They are ankle grazers and feature ankle zips making them easy to remove over trainers if you need to.
The pants are composed of 91% nylon and 9% spandex so they’re breathable and a little stretchy. In terms of storage, they have two back pockets, and two side pockets, one of which has a fastening zip which is ideal for golf balls.
Like the PGA Tour golf pants they provide sun protection, yet they are highly breathable and lightweight so you shouldn’t overheat even during particularly hot days.
5. SANTINY Women’s Golf Pants — Most Pockets
Specifications:
- Size: XS-XXL
- Colors: 16 colors
- Material: 75% nylon, 25% spandex
Rating: 8.9
Although they look fairly different, the SANTINY golf pants for women are made from a very similar material to the pants by G Gradual. The only difference is 5% less nylon and 5% spandex, meaning these are slightly stretchier, but otherwise they have a similar feel.
They are soft, flexible, and very attractive, and with their high-rise fit, they are complimentary of all body types. Unlike the other pants covered thus far, they do not feature a button or drawstring, instead, the 3” soft knit waist does all the work. The cuffs are also a little wider than most which will help air circulate to keep you cool.
Another quality to note is that there are plenty of pockets, five to be exact. There are two slant pockets on the side, two slant zip pockets further down on the legs, and a final pocket on the right buttock. This pocket is ideal for gloves should you use them.
There are 16 great colors to choose from with dusty blue pictured above.
6. Willit Women’s Stretch Golf Pants
Specifications:
- Size: XS-XXL
- Colors: 6 colors
- Material: 92% nylon, 8% spandex
Rating: 8.6
The Willit women’s stretch golf pants are our second ladies’ golf pants from the company. These have a higher nylon content and are water resistant whereas the other pair is not, so if you live in an area prone to rain, these are the clear winner of the two.
The form of the pants is also a little different. They have a smooth waistline with no drawstring and a faux fly to complete the look. They are also full-length rather than ⅞ length and feature split hems for a sharp appearance.
As the pants are very stretchy you don’t get a great deal of space in the pockets — we don’t recommend storing anything chunky in them like golf balls as they will press up right against your skin. That being said, the two pockets on the side and one on the back are perfectly sufficient for the likes of thin golf gloves.
7. Lesmart Women’s Golf Pants
Specifications:
- Size: 2-16
- Colors: 3 colors
- Material: Not listed
Rating: 8.5
The pants by Golf company Lesmart are the perfect smart choice for a golfing day out or equally, a meeting at work. They are full-length and slim fit with a straight ankle cut, yet the movement is not restricted whatsoever. They feature 4-way stretch just like most other golf pants and also provide full UPF50+ protection from the sun’s harmful rays.
There are five pockets in total. Two at the sides, two at the back, and a very small pocket at the front, so there is plenty of space to keep any small items you carry around with you.
Furthermore, they are fade-resistant so you should get plenty of life out of them, and you can also iron them on low which is pretty handy. All in all, we think they are a great choice for women and certainly one of the more professional-looking options. It’s just a shame there aren’t more colors available. You only have gray, beige, and black to pick from.

Women’s Golf Pants Buying Guide
Stretchy
Most golf slacks for ladies are at least a little stretchy because you both want to feel unobstructed while playing golf, and when walking from hole to hole. Many sellers use the term “4-way stretch” meaning the pants can stretch both upward and downward.
Beyond seller descriptions, you can also look at the pants’ composition to get an idea of how stretchy they will be. Materials such as elastane and spandex are the materials that give golf pants their stretchiness, so take note of how much the pants use.
Moisture-Wicking
It’s super easy to overheat on a hot day out playing golf so you really should ensure that your golf pants are moisture-wicking. This is a technology that draws sweat away from the skin to the surface of the fabric where it becomes exposed to the open air.
Here, it can evaporate much faster than if were left trapped between your body and the fabric. This helps to keep you comfortable and dry.
Sun Protection
Another quality to combat extreme heat is sun protection. Having breathable lightweight clothes is key to keeping you cool, but sun protection is what will prevent sunburns. The best golf pants for women are finely woven which helps to prevent the penetration of the sun’s harmful rays to your skin.
Pockets
While not necessary, pockets are always a welcome addition to women’s golf bottoms. I for one feel naked without them! Golf pants usually include anywhere from 2-5 pockets and they come in various sizes and placements.
Most have two larger pockets at the sides and smaller ones at the back. We doubt you’ll use half of them, but at the very least you might want to store your phone or golf glove. For this reason, having at least one large pocket is always a good idea.

FAQs
What Is the Difference Between Regular Pants and Golf Pants?
Regular pants are often thicker, heavier, and have less give than golf pants. As a result, you’ll likely overheat if you wear them for golf. They also won’t stretch during your swing which is rather uncomfortable.
What Kind of Pants Do Girl Golfers Wear?
Girl golfers often wear made pants specifically made for golf. However, some players instead just use sweatpants or lounge pants. These are both usually stretchy which is ideal for golf.
Conclusion
Golf pants make an excellent addition to your wardrobe. And while skirts and women’s golf leggings feel very freeing, it would surprise you just how comfortable golf pants feel to wear. We strongly recommend picking up at least one pair to see how you like them.
And if we have to choose which, we recommend the PGA Tour women’s pants as we feel that they are the best women’s golf pants available right now. Not only are they comfortable to wear, but they have a very flattering appearance and they provide sun protection.
